On Wednesday 20th May 2015 we held our special “be ready for it” event at The Forum Norwich. The event took place during Dying Matters awareness week.

The interactive sessions brought together lots of information about end of life care and available support services, and included…

» performances from the “Death in a Nut” puppet show
» Rose Tremain in conversation with Diana Athill.
» workshops on will writing, funerals and advanced care planning discussion opportunities
» a Death Café tea party
» information stalls from charities, palliative care teams and support services
» meet authors Diana Athill OBE and Rose Tremain CBE FRSL

Dying Matters Book Survey
We are conducting a short survey to try and establish which books people are reading in regard to palliative care and advanced care planning and would greatly appreciate your input.

The drop-in session was organised by Surrey and Kent Palliative Care Academy to raise awareness of end of life issues and encourage people to plan for their futures.
